Have you ever considered getting a briquette press to up-cycle the huge amount of sawdust you produce. You would have a never ending supply of firewood briquettes, they sell for a good price too, as they supposedly burn longer than the logs. Just a thought, and another string for your bow. 👍

They have a lot of saw dust but not enough to justify a commercial briquette machine. More over those machines are expensive! They are able to sell the saw dust and even get some of the saw dust back with manure in it to make their soil products.

We used wood chips with saw dust for horse bedding when I was growing up. Had to buy it in bags. It’s a good product.

Baccadillo days they use sawdust for cooking but they've used glue with it they packed it put glue with it last longer so if you pack it make a mold pack it mix it with glue you saw dust and used them for barbecue just an idea or smoking fish or deer or wild boar lots of shad they used to work sawdust smoked
