@Tiberius could you tell me where you're sourcing that the Spintires engine is based off of Cryengine? Cause I've never seen, nor can find that being mentioned anywhere. What I have heard and read on multiple occasions is that it's a custom engine, as for rendering and such.

They don't look the same. There is a lot more mud flying around and it stucks to the tires which the old one didn't. Haven't compared the graphics though. But neither have you. your just guessing.

More of this would be fun. If you guys do play more, just a couple of tips so you guys don't get frustrated at trying to figure some of the nuances out; Garage points can be acquired with garage attachments. Certain attachments can only be applied in conjunction with other certain attachments and not others. So if something says it's unavailable, it means something currently attached to the truck is either in the way or missing. Need a 'tractor' attachment for the long trailers, but the tractor piece needs to be removed in order to put on the smaller carts and things. In casual, logs can be loaded both automatically by pulling into the marked area and selecting the correct logs, or using a crane. If loaded with a crane, you need a certain amount of logs in the back, then in the 'Advanced view', scroll over the logs for a dot that will 'tie down' the logs. Also, using partial throttle is best when stuck in mud, as going full throttle means you spin the wheels and get barely any traction, but when you turn the wheels slower, they can paddle through the mud slowly to find traction to pull itself forward. You can also select low range gears, the shifter can be manipulated to access the 3 low range stages indicated by the white bars that appear as the lever is slotted into gear, but that is probably too much to think about for you guys at the moment. Fuel trailers/cisterns spawn empty and need to be filled at fuel stations before you can dispense fuel from them. Fuel amount is simulated, so the more fuel being carried means the heavier the vehicle/trailer becomes. Ideally, with the 3 of you, one of you should carry fuel, the other a repair vehicle and the last person carry the logs. A convoy that can help each other out, but who needs that, do it as you wish! :)

I loved the original release, with friends it's surprisingly easy to get sucked in for hours just trying to overcome the environmental challenge. The modding scene is absolutely fantastic as well, tons and tons of new vehicles for the old release and they are making their way over.
