Hi Ben, In my opinion it will be very helpful if you can put all your Luminar Neo videos together as you have with other subjects. Please consider this request. I am playing my way through your Luminar Neo videos from its public availability, and if in a group, it is easier to know where watched videos are up to. Regards JB

This may help a lot of people With Lumina AI and nero running on an AMD 6core core 12 threads 16 gig ddr4 ram and fast m2 drive. Running this software shows very low ram and CPU usage but hard drive going crazy and slowing the system to crawl cant even play a mp3 with using nero. I have had this problem for ages but now it seems its down to were Nero writes edits to save cpu and ram by default it writes to users pictures I had 5300 files in there and several gigs. This may happen to others if you run MS onedrive or Google backup by default it backs up the pictures folder so what happens is Nero writes a gig to the drive and Onedrive backs it straight away so 2 gig writing to disk and 1 gig going to the cloud which slows any system to a crawl. So if your having problems delete the folders in picture Nero complain to create a new catalogue set it to folder on a fast drive that Onedrive or Google don’t backup

I noticed Luminar Neo only can mask 9 different items... I primarily work in wildlife photography. Does it Mask AI Birds???

Hi, it doesn't yet have this feature in Mask AI, but I expect this to be added in a future update

Thank you for the video. Using your human mask, as an example, where you are able to adjust just the human aside form the rest of the photo, can I create a template/preset and copy and paste this effect/mask (with other adjustments) to a large number of similar photos? Sort of a batch effect so I don't have to tweak individual photos.

Thank you Richard. You can adjust the human or whatever ever it is that you mask, and it will not make changes to anywhere else in your photo. With regards to your other question, I want to be sure I am understanding you correct. Do you mean can you copy and paste the mask adjustments and a preset onto other images in bulk?

In Luminar AI, I can edit a photos, create a template from the settings and once I finish the edit to a particular photo I will copy/paste the effects to any number of additional photos. I just select the photos and paste the effects and the look or template is applied to all those I selected. As I think about this now I'm guessing Neo can't do this because it would be too intense to add a mask to a copy/paste. Even though all the photos I'd like to apply the effects to are similar I don't think Neo is that powerful. I'll have to test this myself.

Extremely slow and crashes a lot and I don't have a low machine with low specs. Waiting for the next update soon, last version was definitely better from performance side.

An improvement could definitely be made so it works more efficiently and quicker on most computers, I expect this coming..soon I hope

I am in the GTA and installed it May 12 without difficulty. Remember, things get rolled out over time so not everyone gets the updates at the same time. Just have to hang in there but meanwhile make use of all the tutorials that are created. Have fun!!

@@Soul_Visuals_Photography 22 years retired pro photographer just a bit south in Hazeltown. Still having fun learning about the new digital imaging programs but until NEO I did not purchase after the Luminar 2018. Had issues. Spent time with a lot of programs such as Affinity Photo -- a lot to try to learn. NEO is offering a lot but of course we have to see what occurs on their side of the pond over the next months and how much users will get updates included or does Skylum create another new program. I spend a lot of time using a very basic program with some nice features though called PhotoScape X -- it is freeware but with a Pro option. Not quite what NEO is capable of however. Nice to see someone from the local area. I have been binge watching videos tonight/morning -- daylight has arrived since the creators have been hammering out content since the release of 1.0.6. Each offer different things so one can learn more and more by just viewing all content available. Good to chat.
