this is the first video of dozens that actually shows "how" to use this tool. I finally understand the steps needed to utilize how it works and what it can do.

Thank you David. You've explained Lumenzia masking better than Greg Benz ever has for me. Your passion for your art is infectious.

Thank you for this video, it gives a very good insight into Lumenzia. I think about buying the software together with the courses. This video gives me confidence that this should be a good deal 😊

I´ve also got it and have been using it for around 2 years . I love this plug in. There are so many things you can do with it and some times you feel overwhelmed by its endless possibilities. Tanks for making this tutorial, I enjoy it very much.

Hello David, Jose from Puerto Rico. This is such a fantastic channel! I stumbled on it by chance, when I saw the title of this particular video. Anyone who teaches how to use Lumienza immediately catches my eye, since I've had the plug-in since it's first iteration. Any additional technique on how to use it, is always of great interest for me. But when I saw your other videos, I decided to subscribe because I would love to learn compositing also. So there you have it. Thanks for such great content.

Thank you so much - I am honored and thrilled to have you sub to the channel! It's been a long road with this channel on KZbin and there are some announcements coming up soon to the channel that will be important to check out. Let me know if you have any questions or needs of content (relating to photography and Photoshop) and I will see what I can do to make them. Thank you again!!

Fantastic video! I have owned Lumenzia for several years, but still get confused with all the options and controls available. I would love to see other examples of how you use Lumenzia in your artwork! One of my most often uses is the vignettes button, where you can make unusual custom vignettes as opposed to the typical circle or oval shapes.

Right on - there are so many uses and options that I find it remarkable Greg has kept the price so affordable. I've found the best uses for it in my every-day-work and am thankful that seems to be a small sampling of all its uses; landscape/architectural photographers probably have too many options :) I'll add this to my list of future content ideas and see what I can come up with. Thank you for the kind words and for watching!

David: thanks for a very interesting video. Is there any way that Lumenzia can output to the Color Grading tool found in LR or PS?
@RealityReimagined2 жыл бұрын
Not that I know of - I think the core of it is meant to work with just the adjustment layers found in Photoshop :( Greg Benz (the creator of Lumenzia) would be a better source to answer the question and he's always been very good at responding to emails that I've sent.

What will be the difference between making an action in PS for the different LM from h7 to M7 to L7(h: highlights, M: Midtine gamma, L: Shadow and the numbers are the graduation) I guess that's under the hood of these panels..
@RealityReimagined Жыл бұрын
Aye - it an actually be done rather easily with actions in Photoshop. The issue is (at least at last check) when the mask is made, PS stores quite a bit of active data in the selection cache. If you have a large image and make a few selections in this manner, you're going to use up all of the system resources. The panels like Lumenzia, have a way of removing this data from the active cache and clears up a lot of resource.

@@RealityReimagined that's alot of difference . I just bought the panel . Thanks

How is a luminosity mask different from blend if?
@RealityReimagined2 жыл бұрын
The masks give you more precision to narrow the selection down or up, depending on the luminosity values. Blend If is global and intensity can be controlled, but only globally. They both have the same principals, just a question of control. Thanks for watching my friend!

I was going to ask the same question even though I have doing the LM manually (organically) after years of doing same in Gimp. But this lumenzia looks interesting in speeding up my workflow in real estate and architectural photography . Will buy it. Thanks for the explanation in the thread.. kindly pin this question for those who will obviously have same question

Your background music is annoying and unnecessary.
