I've had this watch three years worn in an office environment. It stopped working so I sent it in through the warranty service. Come to find out there is only a two year warranty on these watches. The repair guys quoted me about $225 for a complete movement rebuild. Again this was worn in an office environment. If you're looking for a rugged watch I would carefully decide on which brand to choose.

Agree. I love this watch. It´s beautiful. And i´m a G-Shock user. Never tried a Luminox, I like their "simplicity". G-Shocks are mostly cool for their features, yet, almost no one uses them. Too bad this watch is even more expensive than the GPR B1000 Rangeman.

@@MrCarpen7er the reason no one uses luminox is because they are charging you an arm and a leg for a quartz with no solar power, no atomic calibration . you are paying 900 dollars for two things, the name Gyrlls and the Titrum markers.. that is it. this watch does not even have a back light.. granted it does not need it but I rather have a backlight than paying 900 dollars for a watch that would otherwise cost 400 dollars tops

We can always count on G-Shock fanboys to demonstrate their hatred and frustration on videos regarding Luminox. We can clearly see that Luminox watches intrigue and interest them since they are there and take the time to write. I have owned high-end watches from both brands for several years. Here is my conclusion: My Luminoxes are infinitely more beautiful. Much more precise and so much more comfortable to wear.

at this price range you would think that at the very least it would be solar. You can get a really nice analog frogman with sapphire and atomic and blue tooth for the same price. Also just because it says 300 meters it does not mean it is a divers watch. it has to be ISO tested in magnetic resistance, impact and under water operation to get this certification. Also at 7:50 you are comparing a 100 dollar g-shock with a 900 dollar luminox buckle.. check a price comparable wtach like the analog frogman or gwg1000 mudmaster they both have double pin stainless steel buckles.
