I love lumion, I wish it one day it can beat other render engine on realistic, its close, but still... the bright side is, lumion's workflow is so damn fast!

See ; other renders use physical based rendering like vray for example . Which means they really calculate the light rays and the shadows that happens simulating real life light , that's why it take longer however the quality is much higher because it's accurate . But i think lumion uses an open GL rendering methodology which is like everything is pre-baked which means less time but the quality is inferior then vray. You can see the difference in the shadows and ambient occlusion. I read this somewhere a while ago and not entirely sure of how it works .

@@KiaMotamedi unreal engine is better, but has a longer learning curve. though, once applied can be furtherly implemented in other projects. the new RTX tech might actually support vray for unreal which is a great sollution. also UE has the precision of camera paths which you create. sometimes I wish lumion had the option to edit camera paths.

its weak on interior but powerful in exterior maybe grow more in future

you could do faster and better in unicorn render plugin. more realistic and less work? why, much less settings cause it is more realistic physical rendering as a strat. next all materials are a matter of drag and drop. so metals, emissive, gloss you simple inject in the sketchup model. then the after touches in photoshop are in realtimein 3D embedded so also that you do not need. Send me this model SKP please and i will make all steps live video in style like this one.
