You hit the nail on the head. I have almost every one of those Tops as well and have tried to figure out the best and most suited way to shoot. The Low shot along with just holding it between takes seems to be its most useful value. Other than that, it just looks cool. Great vid 😊and keep that ring on!

6:15, pull the knob forward, then it spins freely and you can position it somewhere, where it doesn't harm your fingers.

@@lyndonlabayan common practice on those type of knobs, but easily missed, if you haven't build a more complex rig.

I ditched my top handle too, mainly so I could easily clip my camera to my messenger bag if I needed an extra hand without setting my camera down

I actually never looked into clips.. the peak design one I'm guessing?

@@lyndonlabayan I got the Falcam F38 clip and honestly it’s one of the better things I’ve picked up. It makes the craziness of the day that much easier if I’m not as worried about setting down my camera.

I use my top handle in the left side. But i agree, i never use the top handle in the top.

monitor goes on the front of the top handle with arri locating pins.
