Like to add a point, those who are planning to buy new Panasonic Lumix only for video refer GS6 once. I am impressed with GS6 output, even though the GS6 having less recording formats compared to S1 most GS6 formats are 10 bits recording mods where’s in S1 most are 8 bit which wins my heart for GS6

Fair review as always. Aduke ungalukku oru poomaalai. Discussion format was interesting. @Niranjan : The camera has histograms but not RGB parade. It has a luminance spot-meter which is super useful to read the IRE % at spot anytime. The key difference between S1 and S1H in video area is about having Intra , higher data rate & forced circulation sink. Control of the camera from app and Lumix tether is really good. May be you want to explore it. Other than this, I think you have covered everything else. I expected you to test the rolling shutter performance as it is a video camera ;)

Definitely suitable.. I know a wedding filmmaker in Atlanta who used to use GH5 for videos. The quality of the files were brilliant in 10bit. We have shot quite a few weddings with BMPCC4K. Amazing colors, dynamic range and quality.

s5 gives 95% of recording options & features at 1.6L including kit lens! Same image quality. The 3 Panasonic full frame cameras are equally capable and equally underrated. Autofocus is very usable. However, the only issue with the L mount is the lens availability & sky high lens prices.

Nikon has made a promising Z9 but it will be at least a year before the smaller bodies to receive a share of the technology. I’m sure the future is bright for Nikon BUT if you really need a camera right away, A6400 is an excellent choice. If you are ok with not having a view finder, ZVE10 is the best value for money. Z50 lags in AF performance even when it is usable, it is not the latest and greatest.
