How to make NO Meat Lumpiang Togue Pinoy Style
Ingredients:
100g. BAGUIO BEANS
100g. SAYOTE
100g. CARROTS
100g. CABBAGE
500g. TOGUE
1 Tbsp SOY SAUCE
ONION
GARLIC
SALT & PEPPER to taste
Procedure:
1. In a pan, add 2 Tbsps OIL.
2. Sauteed ONION & GARLIC
3. When ONION becomes translucent,add the SAYOTE, CARROTS , BEANS & CABBAGE
4. Stir VEGETABLES until slightly cook
5. You may now add the TOGUE
6. Stir until combined
7. Seasoned with SALT, PEPPER & SOY SAUCE
8. Stir but DO NOT overcooked the Vegetables
9. Use Strainer to removed the excess liquid of Vegetables
10. To seal the Lumpia wrapper, In ½ cup of Water, add 2 Tbsps of FLOUR
11. Mix well until FLOUR dissolves
12. In a Lumpia wrapper, spoon Vegetables at the center.
13. Wrap the Vegetables, Roll the wrapper & Seal with Flour.
14. In a pan, add enough OIL to fry Lumpiang Togue until golden brown
15. Strained LUMPIANG TOGUE to rmove excess oil. Set Aside
For VINEGAR / SAWSAWAN
½cup VINEGAR
¼ cup WATER
½ cup BROWN SUGAR
5cloves GARLIC
SALT & PEPPER to Taste
Procedure:
1 I n pan, add Vinegar, Water & Sugar
2 Stir to dissolve the Sugar
3 Bring to boil to lessen vinegars acidity
4 Let the vinegar cooled down, then GarIic, Salt & Pepper,
