Why couldn't you demo this product in flight??? This review is pretty useless.

Hardly a mention of the companion rudder pedals! They also have a Helo cyclic/collective too, as well as G1000 screens ($5K!).

I know, but I figured it would be an interesting/hypothetical tidbit to add to your otherwise very passionate review of the yoke...

chamberlin1 ahh ok well maybe I'll try and get hold of some for review. I'm sure they are totally awesome! Thanks for watching :)

Wayne, any chance of you doing a review on the new CLS-E NG Yoke and Peddles? There are so view videos on this product but appears to be a number of owners ( Brunner Forum). Your videos are always helpful. Thanks for all you do.

Greetings Luna, that "Light Sabre" noise sounds hideous and possibly irritating to the point of being distracted by it from what would otherwise be an incredible experience of real dynamic load control in a desktop sim. Was that noise simply amplified by the way you have it mounted or would it do that constantly regardless. It sounded very loud to me in your demo. I had made my mind up I was going to buy the yoke but after hearing that noise I am not so sure now even though I am salivating at the thought of having this yoke... Would love to hear more about that instead of just a glossing over of that issue. Thanks very much for doing this demo and review I really appreciate it.

its a shame they aren't more force feedback products on the market for yokes. Remember when I got a force feedback wheel for Iracing and it improved the sim and my driving 10 fold. You could suddenly tell when you were over driving a coner and correct the mistake. Hopefully logitech can release one that dosn't cost over £1000 would love to own one but just not affordable at that price point.

+Eriol_Mits totally get that!

Much better review, In answer to your question that you sent me before you withdrew the first review, The sound did detract the quality of the review, I never finished watching it. I watched all of this one and agree whilst expensive you get what you pay for, There will be others Jumping the bandwagon soon, Thrustmaster, Logitech already have FFB technology from there wheels, But as always with specific sim controller's there is the Low End, Middle End and the High End, I suspect this is the benchmark for high end.

could you tell me if the rudder pedals CLS - E RUDDER, have a forcefeedback effect?

Thanks for the Review. Is it true that you need to be on a runway to activate the controller in X-plane?. This seems weird and almost a deal breaker unless I'm missing something.
@LunasWorld4 жыл бұрын
Paul Tyler no not true - it’s activated all the time you have the software running

@@LunasWorld Thanks... The Prerequisite guide from Bunner state that " YOU MUST BE ON THE RUNWAY". I think what they mean is that you cant be in a x plane setup Menu. Thanks again for the Clarification

Austin Meyer creator of X-Plane recently reviewed this yoke along with several others and found a major flaw. It seems that the pre-programmed "planes" have nothing whatsoever to do with the actual flight characteristics of the real airplanes. Austin says that he can produce the proper numbers for each aircraft and is hoping to make contact with Mr. Brunner to see if he (Austin) can generate the proper numbers to make the pre-set planes act as they should. I'm hoping that together they can come with a yoke that is truly great and can really become "the greatest."

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this what seems to be a truly amazing piece of equipment, very interesting! One thing I wanted to ask and sorry if you mentioned something about it already that I missed but did you try the yoke also with airliners such as the PMDG NGX? I would be very interested to know how it performs with that kind of aircraft. I already understood you can adjust pretty much anything you could dream of using the included software to make sure the yoke suits the aircraft you're flying which is all great. However it would still be very interesting to have some info on how it actually feels when flying bigger aircraft since most people seem to be using it for GA. Thanks alot for your review, much appreciated and especially considering how few of them there are which might not be so strange considering the price of the yoke ;-)
@LunasWorld7 жыл бұрын
Hi Richard, Thanks for writing - I can confirm that the yoke is amazing with airliners too. As you said, everything can be customised to fit the profiles of airliners so you can get it feeling totally different to flying GA. Hope that helps...

Just put in an order for one so truly looking forward to try it out within the next couple of weeks and hopefully be able to set somewhat realistic settings for a 737 NG since I do all my flying in the PMDG 737 NGX. I have no experience flying the real aircraft but I do have a number of hours from full motion Level-D 737 simulators so I think I should be able to use that as a reference when setting the CLS-E up. I was also informed by Roger the CEO over at Brunner how they are planning to introduce some kind of repository where users will be able to share their profiles with others. That will be great! Really like your videos and just watched the one with the bodyshaker unit to be mounted under your chair and will probably get one of those too right in time for my yoke so the only downside really watching your clips here at KZbin is how the thickness of my wallet is decreasing ;-)

Thank you for such detailed review. You are real world pilot, is that correct? Do you think it is worth investing in such yoke for improving your flying skills? What I mean is that I am also a pilot with PPL and for 2000 euros I could rent a plan for at least 20 hours. This is basically what I spend annually... that is why I am struggling to spend such amount of money.
@LunasWorld7 жыл бұрын
Łukasz Kulasek it's a very valid point. My answer is that it is still worth the investment because it is a one off payment and you can fly as many hours as you like. For me living in the UK where the weather often stops you from flying I want my sim to be as close to the real thing as possible. This does that.

Wait for Logitech....they have taken Saitek over....it's possible that they coming with an update on the Saitek Yoke - with Force Feedback - They know how to make that - They making excellent steering wheels for raging cars games with force feedback - for 300-350 dollar. - sorry for my English - I'm Dutch.

TWO THOUSAND EURO'S?!?
@LunasWorld7 жыл бұрын
Actually 1890 and worth every penny!
@mds36977 жыл бұрын
Luna's World Really I don't think so. I mean, sure, it will make it immersive and all, but for that money you can get a chair vibrator to get the same (or better) physical response... and a beast PC that will show you even more immersive graphics... I'm sorry I just can't imagine how good this thing is, I'm sure it's great but a yoke can never be worth 1890 Euro's in my opinion.

You need to try it. That's all I'm saying.

Just plug it in and show us. If you don't have a sim, then what are you doing reviewing the yoke????
@mixodorians127 жыл бұрын
Are they going to give you this thing if you praise it enough? No offence Luna but I don't know you and you could be after a freebie. This is the second review you have done on this (after talking about it lots and lots for weeks). If they are not going to give it you, Why is it so important to you to sex wee all over this thing? Wouldn't you be better off letting it go for others to review? You have praised it enough at this point. This is a boutique item. I am sure the people who can afford it already have it. Let it go man.
@LunasWorld7 жыл бұрын
The first review was removed due to sound issues and I've only just had the chance to re-recorded. see the comment below this. As I said, its not a sponsored video at all, they have made it very clear that they want it back so to answer your rather cynical question - no, they aren't going to give it to me if I praise it enough. I have given my honest opinion about the product. I've been going on about it the last few weeks because it has been in my possession for the last few weeks, I've been using it to do the review. It is absolutely not a boutique item, it is a highly engineered piece of hardware that can and will change your flight sim experience beyond even my expectations. Hence my excitement. You are of course entitled to your opinion but the only reason I am excited about this product is because...well, I'm excited. It is amazing. I'm jealous I can't keep it but as I said, I'm going to save up for it. It really is that good.
