Lunalight Fusion Season 27 II | Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel

Currently at the time of me posting this video, I'm Master 3. While this season hasn't been particularly harder than any previous seasons, I'm not enjoying the format at this time with all the Snake-Eyes matchups, lots of GY hate focused strategies, and an uptick in Stun (at least for me). It's just a slog to play through games sometimes and I rather just look forth to the new cards and hopefully new banlist that brings a greater impact in terms of the top decks/strategies. As for the decklist, I just been playing around with it as I rather just see what I like versus optimizing it for the format specifically, Nib hasn't really come up (expected but still) but Talents has come up a ton. Talents is great vs Snake-Eyes to take Apollousa and have your own quick effect monster negate. And I prefer Droplet over Imperm although handtrapping Snake-Eyes is pretty nice but I can play pretty well into a full Snake-Eyes board with a decent-good hand. Anyways, hope you all enjoy the video, went for more variety in terms of duels and think it came out pretty well.

@@royalvandyke I have been using imperm and crossout instead of nib and droplet, it came up clutch when my opponent tried to imperm dugares. I have royal rare tenki so I'll never stop playing beast warriors.

@@owo2312 tbh I don’t even like Nibiru, was just testing it but will probably end up slotting Imperm back in, Nib just never comes up. I have terrible luck with Crossout at 1 so I’m hesitant to use it lol

I was previously a Lunalight enjoyer (Fusions that beat down and look attractive doing it get me), and I think you very well have made me a Serena enjoyer too, haha. Love the BGM too! Proof regardless of their entries' quality, Sonic and SMT having killer OST's is a constant.

I just admire your patience playing a going 2nd deck in this meta! Stun is everywhere on ladder and also I can't convince myself to sit through a 10 minute snake-eyes combo, even though their board is not that hard to break. It's so boring. But I hope you reach M1 again this season! Good luck!

Pretty cool tech with Back Jack and Linkuriboh, but the Lab player misplayed at the end. Should have activated Rexterm immediately after Panther Dancer was summoned.

This season was certainly plagued by fire decks but it was certainly nothing Lunalight Master Lunita couldn’t handle. Great video as always brother! Hopefully next month with be healthier in terms of meta decks.

Another great video as always! Already started off strong with the first game. I had to rewind it a couple times because I love seeing a good Panther Dancer OTK! I got a little worried in that game with the Imperm I was like oh no you can’t use Wolf’s effect and you used up his only good pendulum scale, but I forgot you had Zephyros in your gy already lol Man, this character and this deck means so much to me. I absolutely love Serena. She’s my comfort character and I wish she got better treatment and more duels with her Lunalight deck after the Yugo duel. I do hope she makes a comeback in the anime someday and has a prominent role (especially with a new animation team that treats their female characters better). An Arc V sequel would be so dope! I can’t describe how much she means to me and how much I adore her. lol kinda got swept up in the sentimental emotions. Anyway, can’t wait for your next upload RDV 👍❤

Yeah it’s just a very stale meta by bringing in the Snake Eyes cards this early into the game when it’s littered all over TCG and OCG and more to come when they introduce Fire King and the rest of Rescue Ace. I would probably do some consistency hits, I’m not sure though since the deck has a lot of strengths.

Well I been playing this deck and its variants for a long time now. It’s pretty easy to get a handle on but is more reliant on game knowledge and what your opponent’s deck does. As long as you see both Chick and Tiger, you can always make plays, it’s just about what plays you should do. It is hard to make a combo guide on a blind second variant of the deck as it is reliant on your hand and your opponent’s board. I will attempt to make something in the future though.

Hey! Welcome to the community :) Currently in this format, the only decks that force me to go 1st are Mikanko, Numeron and the rare go 2nd Sky Striker. Mikanko can’t OTK without a monster on board, Numeron can only do it if they draw Limiter Removal and Sky Striker also can’t kill that fast so backrow and HT is usually the play. If it is someone playing some meta deck going second for some reason, I just scoop lol but I used to run Bagooska as a defense as well.

You don’t really use the Lunalight cards as an engine to specifically go second. It is used as an engine to spam more bodies on the board for comboing. It is usually Chick, Marten, Tiger, Perfume.

Adding in crossout is the main way to play through Nib but have also extended through Nib with early OTK setups backed by extenders in hand/GY. You can also make more Link focused set ups as well to set up an Apollousa of your own. Just depends.

Technically yes you can but I personally wouldn’t. The deck needs strong mill power to function without 3 copies of Foolish Burial Goods. Danger monsters tend to do that job well but it has RNG factor that I’m not personally a fan of.
