i actually told my ballet level 4 class the other day that they can absolutely use class as their weekly "fashion show" if they promise to keep it ballet inspired. I think my students have more fun in class if they are allowed to express themselves. We aren't a studio that feeds into any professional companies so we are more laxed on the rules!!

yeah me too, we did ballet too but my competition studio was black leos only (besides the little kids), and pink/tan tights depending on the day 😭 i think in last the few years since i've graduated they can now wear black leggings too, but even that was off limits for us while i was there

Was actually obsessed with the burnt orange with the stripe socks haha maybe not for everyone ❤❤ just had a subtle jolly vibe the pink tights diluted in a good way. Also the reddish with the caramel outline would look good with similar caramel to bring that out ❤

Hola!. I just discovered you while looking at for videos for figure ice skating because my daughter (who have being doing ballet for 7 years now) has decided she wants to try figure ice skating! (problem is we live in a small town south of Chile though where there is not any place to do that jajja ) . Any way, your video was so much realistic and fun at the same time, so I just saw others to know more about you as a ballerina . Love your journey so far!. I would love my daughter decides to stay in ballet classes, even though this year I have seen the dark side of it :(

I've gotten into unitards with loose shorts/skirt over lately. It makes it so easy compared to adding tights to the mix. So over tights with runs and awkward waistbands.....

So here it goes - do ballerinas have to wear underwear underneath the leotard? Or is the leotard considered thr underwear itself?

it depends on how you wear it, but simple answer is no underwear is allowed. it’s just traditional and sucks a lot when it’s that time of the month. if you wear the tights under the leotard, the tights are the underwear but if you wear the leotard under the tights, the leotard is the underwear - it just depends on your preference

For those that don’t like BetterHelp I recommend the Catholic Psych institute they have a new model called CPMAP - I think with this model you get therapy right when you need it instead of having to wait a week to tell your therapist about the terrible experience you had at work. It’s basically like a “first responder” type of model. It’s new and hopefully more helpful than the common model of therapy. Also I don’t think you have to BE Catholic, therapy is therapy and everyone needs it ❤

Love how you styled these!!!!! My cousin has a dog named Maisie (I can't remember the spelling, so I don't know if I spelled the name right) and she will bark at anyone and everything. The dance studio I go to has specific black leotard, and specific pink tights you HAVE TO buy from their store, so I can't be creative with my style. Love your vids, Luna!!!
