I used to do ballet for about 13 years but I had to stop because I had a bunion surgery last winter. I miss ballet with all my heart and I feel like I have lost a part of me. Watching your videos brings me back memories and nostalgia and I kind of see a part of myself in you. Continue doing what you’ re doing. You’re going to nail it 🧚🏻💞

I’d recommend you look into perfect fit inserts, and a fitting with a REALLY expert fitter. Your toenail issue might be in part because of I’ll fitting shoes, but even if not, perfect fit would REALLY help.

Get fitted by Josephine lee. I swear she’s magic. I have the worst feet for pointe and she addressed and solved all my issues in one fitting online. She also does a more thorough fitting than I’ve personally ever gotten in the past from any fitter ever and I loved it. I’ve never used Perfect pointe inserts but I hear they are also quite magical.

Of course you can do pointe! you need to get your nails done by a professional and then you could do it! Me thinks it is an excuse!

You looked AMAZING. 😍😍😍 This role is deceptively simple looking. When you showed the DVD it just looked like a few twirls in an elaborate costume. But in rehearsal I saw how stunning your adagio was. You will have to be on your toes often for that part. You would look great in any clothes...even Goodwill/garage sale priced clothes. People may need to work up to even cutting the grass in the summer due to less exercise in the winter etc.. You will have a goal and something to work for. Dancing helps keep people in shape. Taking your dog for a walk even helps. God bless!

Actually, what’s cool about my studio is in the nutcracker my teacher added a Hungarian dance because we have a lot of kids at our studio and she needed more parts. Im not sure where she got the music but basically it’s the level three dancers that do it as well as four main Hungarian dancers that are level 5. They wear heels and pretty and detailed yellow flowery dress things haha. Really cool thing our studio does:)

My studio does the same thing with nutcracker in the winter then a spring show. The most recent spring show we did was The Fairy Tale Adventures of Puss in Boots. I was a dancing villager. I'm starting level 5 in a week and I got dewdrop for nutcracker. I'm so excited!!! This is probably TMI but whatev.
