Thanks for sharing your love of Nutcracker with us! For the last 20 years, including my daughter’s entire life, Nutcracker has been part of my life and her’s. This year, we said good-bye to The Nutcracker we’ve each danced in for 10 years- it’s bittersweet to say the least, especially as she danced the role of Snow Queen, wearing the same tutu I wore 14 years ago. Sharing the stage with her the last three years in Snow and other roles has been unforgettable for both of us, and something we’ll both miss when she goes to college next year. Hopefully it wasn’t my last nutcracker ever, but we’ll see… Congrats on another run of Nutcracker!!!

Congrats on several beautiful performances and another year of growth and development as a human. Your self correction is good and the self deprecation recovery was faster which is a sign of improvement. Your friend is smart to remind you that we all have bad days and off days and what can you do but shrug it off and bring in the most gorgeous last performance of your career. You can keep training to get your fouettés and know that your dance doesn’t hinge only only the perfect ones but in being a package deal of talent and passion. Its so ironic that you were feeling down about your performance in the snow queen last time because I saw the nutcracker for the second year in a row earlier this month and I was actually disappointed with the Arabian dance because I was hoping it'd be something like the choreography you guys did which was just so much more entertaining to watch even as a video. I hope the next time I see it its like yours and the dancers have as much chemistry and fluidity as you and your partner!
