What is ASMR? It is both a sensation and a medium.
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current, non-scientific name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering, personal attention or watching someone perform a task. It's like goosebumps, but much more pleasant.
ASMR videos are meant to intentionally help induce this sensation, also referred to as "tingles", but also provide a relaxing, calming, soothing, therapeutic and even entertaining experience for the viewer.
Many people who do not experience ASMR still enjoy the videos for their calming and sleepy effect.

I have the perfect idea for the next "Let's Eat" video! It takes place in the middle of the woods, or maybe even on a battlefield. You meet a soldier, and he and you are both very hungry. He pulls out some MREs for you and him to eat before continuing the mission! (American MRE rations are pretty easy to get, you can find them on various parts of the internet.)

Down on my luck with money but, once again, I promise one day I'll repay you for the help your videos have been to me. Really love Iggy, the dry humor is awesome. And also I don't know why but I love when you do that "lying about homecook/food" act on characters. It somehow reminds me of those dark nights up in the Swedish north when I served in the military. You'd sit in the darkest of dark forests, thick and old, the firelight reflecting on only the nearest trees making it feel lucid and dream; As if nothing existed beyond those few 12 meters or so. Above you was the most amazing sky with literally 0-1 Light-pollution. You'd stir down your shitty coffee in a pot of melted snow, you'd poor some hot water in your freeze-dried "Homemade Cod Stew with Potatoes" and stir it as the mist poured out of the bag. You'd sit with hands so cold as if they'd never been warm and you put them around the warm bag, breathing in the warm air... A moment of respite, a shiver of wellbeing in that place, the darkest of places. Just wanted to share a story (sorry it became long), I just never had figured out why I felt so calm about it and then it just all came out hah. Love you E.R.! The reason the scene is captivating, is because it exist vividly in his memory. Describing moments like these, is normally not that hard. A writer has to make things up and to describe those moments in way as real as a true experienced moment, now that is what makes good writing.

Not all the country but yeah, it's common in Europe. Here, in France, if your lunch break is less than 45 minutes, your boss have to pay you as if they were actual 45min of work. For workers, this is often the case. For others, yes, lunck break is longer and is usually around 1:30 or 2 hours.
