Thanks! 😊 It has been incredibly easy to meet people here, once you meet one person you get introduced to other people. There’s also several Facebook groups for ex-pats to communicate with each other on Facebook. Everyone is very outgoing here it seems, you can also find out about events and places people go through these online forums also.

Do you tip in the restaurants? My experience is that it is not common to tip service people.

Kyle Clark most people usually leave .50 or $1 extra, but it’s not necessary.

@@A_Box tipping is optional in Ecuador, I personally give it when I have had an excellent experience (not $1 but at least $4 onwards). I’m Ecuadorian btw

@@A_Box lol 😂. Just so you know, in Ecuador, the tip does not consist of a salary for the worker, it is rather an extra that the workers receive (an extra of the salary, established by contract).
