Local Tide makes some great shrimp toast and smash burgers in Fremont. The rest of the menu also looked fantastic though I haven't had a chance to try it all yet.

Yup. Local tide is SO GOOD. Highly recommend. Is truly fine dining quality at a small joint with much more reasonable seafood price.

My favorite local seafood spot, always love how unassuming and down-to-earth they are. You must try the rockfish bowl there next time! And the albacore tuna sandwich!

In my own experimenting trying to make a "gourmet" burger, I started putting about a third of a pound of a spicy breakfast sausage in a pound of beef and something about that combination just elevates the burger.

Sadly Theo Chocolate is no longer made in Seattle after merging with a different company earlier this year. The flagship store is still nice but the factory used to make the whole neighborhood smell like chocolate!

If you haven't, you should also try Outlander Brewery a couple doors down from Local Tide! When I went they had a Thai Basil ale that knocked my socks off. Cheers!

Legit shrimp toast is so so so good, I use to work at a restaurant that served butternut squash soup with a “lobster” crouton (it was a shrimp and lobster toast). Delicious
