Worst burger I’ve had in Seattle. Char was black, not brown. Tasted like burnt

It's really the Mount Baker neighborhood, Columbia City is south of it, best teriyaki in seattlle

I love Matt's. Stopped in there everytime I was in the port. I used to love his Italian beef sandwich, so dang good unfortunately he quit offering them on his menu. Always got a Chicago dog. Sadly I never get up that way anymore.

I grew up eating at both spots, but that taco truck was my childhood 🫶 Since it’s next to the park, my mom would get me food while I played there

You cannot have la taqueria and not have the super taco. I used to eat there every week when they had their San Jose Location on 1st and Santa Clara back in 2006. 2 super tacos, 1 corn quesadilla with just chorizo and a coke…..heaven every time!

I just ate the chicken teriyaki donburi with umami chili oil (chili crisp) onsite and it has restored my faith in Seattle teriyaki! I survived on teriyaki through college at UW in the '90s but when we moved back in the '10s most Seattle teri seemed too sweet and kind of uninspired. This one was so freakin' good: with a nice char, a tasty sauce that wasn't all sweet, a little too much spice on top, and a good chicken to rice ratio. It looked better than the takeout!

I always preferred Soshi's on Greenlake. Half chicken, rice and, cabbage.

I live in Beaverton, and thank you for showing the good side of Portland, it's an absolutely beautiful place that is really overhated by the media at large (I'm not saying it has no problems, and it's definitely not as safe as it used to be,)

I have tried most of the Teriyaki places on your list. I really like Ichi Roll Wok & Teriyaki on N 125th. Their tempura prawns never make it to my house, I eat them in my car.

I love Paseo and Un Bien, but usually go to Un Bien because the parking is easier

I'm from NOPO, if anybody is in the area I would recommend checking out the stacks coffee house, la perlita and auntie ha. All three of these are great self owned businesses 🙂

I used to work about a block and a half away from there and works go there almost weekly. The prices, like most places, have SKYROCKETED. I used to be able to get chicken and gyoza for like $13, but I went there the other day (first time in a long time since I don’t work nearby any longer) and was shocked to pay $21 for that combo after tax and slight tip. The food was still absolutely amazing. I will continue to stand by my claim that this is the best teriyaki in Seattle.

If you go into one of the worst cities in Oregon, Gresham you will find a taco shop called Taqueria Santa Cruz. It is what I believe is the greatest Mexican food in the world, their pasted tacos and supreme burritos😊 . I have traveled all around the world trying to find something better and can’t

I know it's not *technically* Seattle, but Vashon Island has a very good teriyaki shop I think you would like! The ferry trip is always fun!
