Hello Waki in the USA! Love your videos. I'm going to use another guy's technique and mix with yours. He boils his Slug-Gos and ties with a loop knot. I have a lifetime supply from 1980's and need to fish them more, but keep buying more lures!!!

The Slug-Go is a versatile killer lure for streetfishing. I caught a lot of bass on the drop shot rig. The Lunker City Salty Shaker is also a very popular lure over here. Thank you for posting!

I've got an old slug o that I got out of my dad's tackle box after he passed. I gave it to him about 30 yrs ago. Except these were really big. It's a good lure!

Hi Waki san, what baits & lures would you recommend to use for bass fishing in the shallow, clear water reservoirs in the North Eastern? It’s been raining here and there are many good size bass chasing for baby herring but they are picky. Sounds like a good place. I'd say let's try as many lures and techniques as possible. I’d say Keitech w/ jig head rig would be promising.

I know two years to late but what hook is that you're nose hooking it with? I started in NY bass fishing 25 years ago throwing only Slu Go's but weedless with a texposer hook they were lunker citys hook and had a 90 degree shank that rigged perfect with a stick bait like the slug go I'm thinking of getting back until using them thanks

Slug Go is a sort of all time best! The hook was a Hayabusa Spin Muscle Guard.

@AnglerWaki That's kind of like a small drop shot hook? I'll look into that never thought to nose hook these baits over the years Keitech has been the go to for soft plastics but the Slug-go like you said an all time classic thanks for your help I'll subscribe 👍🏻

I like the 4.5 inch slug go and 4.5 inch xlayer weightless with SW ultralight (or I guess more accurately chinning tackle) for seabass here in Israel

Very cool, I've never tried this bait but I've been fishing the sexy impact in a similar manner with similar tackle. I have a hard time setting the hook with ultra light tackle, it's good fun though! I heard you say 糞, a word I learned from Yuki Tsunoda, and I'm not sure if your translation to English is literal. 🤣
