Rob, I like shooting Pistols and rifles but rifles are my favorite. I recently started investing more money in scopes and trying to get educated in MOA and holds. When you were talking about 8 + 3 ( I think it was you 500 yd target) war that your “hold from 0 at 100 yds? Does that reference mean you were holding +8” elevation and to the left of center 3” ? Any help you could give would be great. Thanks. I’m using Ruger 6.5 Creedmore right now. Would 556 reach out that far consistently at similar holds?

Was wondering what caliber that rifle is and what scope you are using, I have a DPMS LR, and a 556/223wyld, no scope on 556, have shot about 1 1/2” group at305 yards with DPMS, in my back yard,but know wher there is a rang out to 1000yards, would like to see video for teaching some one to shoot longer, have shot farther but used hold over on my Rem 700 classic in 7mm mag was far enough to shoot, gun settle and see bullet impact useing hand loads,with a simons white tale classic scope but set up about 25 years ago never moved scope after zero in at 100 yards
