Luos is pronounced as 'Ross' in Chinese, not 'Louis.' So, the correct way to pronounce it would be 'Ross Jet.' Although I suspect this is a made-up name, the brand comes from the Canton region in China, where 'Luo' (pronounced 'Raw') is a prominent surname among Hakka and Cantonese people. Have you seen the parent brand's boots? XBXS... my god... they have some mega-nice looking boots (with pricetags to match) specifically the miner series I really like. Edited to add: I too love a raw edge look on boots ala truman and the luos-jiet featured. I have some BLKBRD Dixons with a welt that has multiple joins (EXTREMELY well hidden one) as well and I doubt it makes much of an issue functionally.

The boots look really good. The color is very nice. I appreciate you making reviews of relatevly unknown and affordable boot makers, as this is the kind of products that I feel most comfortable to buy at this stage. I'd like to suggest two possible points for improvement for future videos (respetfully, no means to offend you). First, I'm being destructed, as you constantly are looking on your watch. Second, the quality of the picture is really good when you point on details in the natural light, but gets considerably worse in the shade. It would be much better, if you could find a way to get consistent light conditions, or at least avoid showing the product, when it is in the shade.

No offense at all. Great suggestions and I promise I will improve my set up going forward. As for the watch thing I use my Apple Watch to make sure I’m in focus and in frame but thanks for letting me know that is distracting. I will work on it. So.. I’ve asked this before but want to be sure. You think sizing wise go 1/2 size smaller than iron ranger? I’m a 10 brannock and they suggested a 42. Thought I’d ask again since this is the model I’ll be ordering.

That’s what I did and it worked great for me. I’m a 13d brannock, 12D IR and went with 46 which is 11.5 IR.
