The Armed Forces of the Philippines renders military honours for the last time to its late Commander-in-Chief, President Benigno S. Aquino III, at the Manila Memorial Park. Members of the Presidential Security Group who are bringing the urn ontaining the ashes of the late president and the national flag are temporarily replaced by the heads of the armed forces and the police. The national anthem is then played, coinciding with a 21-gun salute only rendered to presidents of the Philippines. The urn is subsequently carried on a military hearse towards President Aquino's resting place at the Manila Memorial Park.
