At 3:14, there's a double entendre/triple entrendre when he says "Everything you bad at I do so well and I eat the whole beat, then put it on sell/cell. That means I put it out to see. You'll never get it back, its only coming back to me." He's saying to his competition that if they rap to this beat, they will do so bad that he will have to eat the whole beat. Then, he will sell the beat or make it get locked in a cell. But, at the same time he's figuratively selling the beat or locking the beat because he owns procession of the beat. I don't know if Lupe came with that line off the top of his head, but if he did he's a fucking genius. Written or not written, to come up wit a line like that is incredible lyricism

I dont know... Kendrick can take you to his life and the situation he came from.. bring you right into his world. Lupe can never have that context in his story telling. Then we can actually get into lyrical compositions.. internal rhyme schemes.. and Kendrick edges ahead. If you are going on what you personally like better? Sure... but when you get analytical with it... Kendrick is hard to approach for most.
