This is for all the Lupe fans: Rap showed me the lyrical sword When hip hop saved my life better yet my soul Showing the light of that new day from truth say I didn’t know in all my time There was even the coolest way to say Exactly what my generation needed With words I never said but bears repeating Then the tone was seeded touchstone was repeated Lo and behold I’m brought free chilly High all the way to paris, tokyo How could one so unschooled know? All that love of words, and still so cold! Rocking the go go go gadget flow Was the superstar among them not one for frontin The stars that carry the sons of Mary The hope man sowed so very Holding my heart till i get there whole See the glitter in the sky the sinner through my eye Which set the streets on fire flames rising ever higher Each a peak of light shone bright as orange Peeked from my eyes the heat outpouring Give my daydreamin music I was just about to lose it Hear me sing along sweet melody As the show goes on so classically To the cavities of sweet thought so much so my cheeks shot And the cold recess the mean taught Intruder alert I gotta go baby I be one to brave the matter your knight in shining armor So tragic the American terrorist son of sammy I mind travel and accompany creative tackles as i can A mural in the words for worlds insecure I hear the beats bumping and touch the sky Can you feel it?! yea, i know, just like I Must be going out of my head That my heart, my mind, they grow on so Could be all black everything Keeping me pondering, why this though? Why does the politician milk his own? Why the poor mother not feed her boy? Gotta eat so bad but money’s tight it hurts me soul Why the bullets support the profits from criminals? Such a cold world the lil weapon who goes I gotcha its critical to reach for dough That’s the mind set for each who poor In dollar or spirit even more Keep their minds locked up blindly reassured I’m beamin from receiving my peace to show Pressure the instrumental to letting go Making my pay 1st and 15th around my way that’s what i know

Every Time I look in the mirror and see my face It reminds me of a place that I can't erase A spot where people happy they ain't worried about race And everybody smiles even up in last place A perfect world is far away but we on are way So don't forget to pray please almost everyday Say it in your mind or say it out loud would you and don't forgot god always proud of ya.

Felt the tears from the rain, Like when the Temptations sang, Or when Sam Cooke, Wrote the chain gang, See these just a few words we sang, Born southerner, so im used to the slang, And no we dont gang bang, We just sit back vibe to the words, once again, Again i seen the flowers, shoot out of the concrete, It was like Gods speech, resurrected the broken connection, Made a dope selection, Now i feel the heavenly presence, Let the melody raid the magnificent, No need for defiance, I used to dance at the moonlight, Everynight, The vinyls was spinnin' tight, Soul man, with the mic in his hand, I move like wind to sand, Are you feelin', Vibratin' the floors to the ceilin', we chillin', Old folks tellin' stories they lived in, Heat done moved from the kitchen, Once the bases became loaded, Nobodys pitchin'-

Contradicting my ability, Wishing this world can stop time for me to catch up on my destiny. Shit, I can only wish that I can be famous tommorow, Ik I’m still a teen tempted to cast his dream but life itself is hard to throttle. No hoes, no new clothes, But all that shit unnecessary, Aspects of hip hop and appearances nowadays are lookin scary, I’m not trying to be like these other rappers who stay writin hieroglyphics, making it impossible for niggas to understand it. Man and New York that equals many possibilities that’s tethered to a Mans Ambitions n Youth with the mood of conviviality, Vividly I’m still hungry for what’s coming to me, I may not see shooting stars passing by me at that 42 degree, One day I’ll be that star watching everybody not pudge they at 0 degree as they envy me in the industry, I tell em back than was a mystery but I made this shit reality, This shit my heart and ain’t nobody stopping me.
