Nice reaction. Amy didn't send the voice-mail to Soundtrakk, she sent it to her own producer. I forget how to spell his name, but he's also know for being a early Nas producer, so he already had some notoriety in the hip hop world. Amy was tired of her jazz singing genre and was possibly going to switch to a hip hop album... so this can be seen as her album that never got made.

@Timmy2Dope sometimes we ponder if the bs Atlantic put him through hindered his creativity or it made his art stronger in the long run. I'm glad we had Amy, I like her music,, but because she was here, we also have Samurai. Long live inspiration, rest in peace to art.
