On 25/02/2021 LUPUS UK hosted a live virtual seminar about "Lupus and Diet" with guest presenters Prof Liz Jury, Dr George Robinson, Dr Anastasia Kalea, Dr Zia Knippenberg & Eleni Sotirakou.

Thanks for sharing. This has been really interesting. Quorn however is not actually made of soy, I guess it might make sense to correct this?

Why are they so fearful to recommend cutting out animal products to decress inflamation? Who funded this Seminar?

Hi Angie. This Q&A session had no funding associated with it. The guests volunteered their time to answer the questions. The original seminar series was funded from LUPUS UK, although the guest presenters all volunteered their time. The series was possible to fund thanks to an educational grant received from GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), but GSK had no involvement or editorial oversight in this or any other patient education event provided by LUPUS UK.
