Tie the hook on first when Texas rigging , you can then slide the bait over the knot and it can protect the knot

Great video, pretty much how I fish creature baits, I'm a Zman/Keitech fan, but turning onto Fox Rage. One thing I've found that can help on the Texas rig is to use a glass bead between the hookeye and the weight. It makes a decent 'clacking' sound which can proke a take. Also, have you tried the Carolina rig? Devastating on its day.

Glad to hear it. Yes using a bead is also a great option, as is the Carolina rig. The Critters are so versatile, we could have done an hour long special on them but just wanted to cover some basics and leave room for another session in the future 😉👍🏼

In exactly the same way you would tie on a fluorocarbon leader if you have a spool of fine wire trace, either tied on or crimped on. With the fine ready made wire traces you can just clip the jigheads on and you're away! 👍🏼

Shame fox rage don’t sell the Cheb weights to go with it, or the clips or weights separately! Accidentally bought corkscrews thinking you can remove the clip🤦🏼‍♂️ Creature baits are very affective but No brands seems to sell the Cheb weights to use in conjunction with.. only korum and Spro as far as my knowledge goes, I know you can buy them on eBay but I don’t understand why fox rage and other predator brands don’t sell them if they sell the lures to use with them... but still a great video anyways 👌
