Lure of the North

In the remote wilderness of Ontario, Canada, two travelers endure the repetitive mental hardship of cold winter tripping. This short film captures the experiences and emotions of their expedition. It’s tough. It’s tiring. It’s lonesome. Yet it's a beautiful and meditative love affair as you persevere one snowshoe step at a time.

@@junbh2 Well, seems I kinda got dealt a bad hand. Retired last Oct after 32yrs in the military & from my civilian job in Feb, 6wks later was diagnosed with MS. So my options are very limited. I'll just be enjoying their videos unless they need someone to drive the "chase" truck...

I bought my Mukluks pattern and moose hyde from you guys a while back and they turned out great. I doubled the sole with Bison and moose plus made them bigger to accommodate a beaver fur liner . I made a all leather binding for my ojibwa snowshoes for the big Santoy lake east of terrace bay..We go for Lake trout there in the winter. CHEERS GUYS
