Love how you kept the logs all different sizes, gives it much more character than being all 6 by 4's. Beautiful work

I've just bought a used m7 mill, and watching your videos has been really useful. I realize the m2 is a bit newer with some improvements, but not too different. Looking forward to making some nice boards, more efficiently than with my Alaskan mill!

Hi What is the thickness of the sheet metal of these tiles and what is the cross-section of these longitudinal profiles?

When my mom bought a very nice, real pair of sherpa, leather sole ankle high house shoes for my dad, ...... Very first thing she did was take them to shoe repair guy, so he could take a little thicker soft sole, & he sewed it onto the bottoms, in addition to the soles .... Well, my dad just passed away, (9/2023) that pair was still in like-new condition! Dad wore them 8 (3PM - 11PM) hours every day since he was 44 years old. That was 43 years ago. If HIGH QUALITY supplies are used, they'll be appreciated, & worn a lifetime! ❤ 👍 🇺🇲

I've yet to see a definitive statement about the relative friction of these two plastics on snow. Long experience in the ski industry suggests that uhmw must be better, but a key difference is that skiing is conducted at velocities that are not relevant to winter hauling, and velocity can make a huge difference in how much micro-melting occurs. However, it looked like this test was conducted on snow that had been tracked in and sintered for hours or days before the test. I think it would have been worth the extra effort to perform the test on a fresh float, because that's all that matters on a long-haul trip. Electric winch with one of those little hanging load scales would be the way to go, as noted below.

It'd be nice to have a little recap once in a while of contestants and the time they leave. Big brother is annoying because they're soooo repetitive but this show needs some type of summary either at the beginning or the end if each episode when someone leaves

Not sure how I never saw any of your videos before. Maybe a good thing 🙂Two days ago, I stumbled on "Snow Walkers" which brought back so many good memories from my trip with you guys. This one made me smile too, especially the polar dip....not quite the Kie I remember inspiring mine ;- ) . Love you guys and so nice to see you having so much fun despite a clearly challenging adventure.

Awesome video!!! I just purchase the 8' DIY toboggan, I will be doing a loop in December 2024 involving two summit passes. Of course this depends on the weather (hahaha) this will be a unsupported trip. First time with a toboggan though, lots of physical and mental train to do between now and departure time. best wishes to all. Question, why have you not done more video's.
