You make this looks so easy. My airbrush and supplies will be in this coming week so I am excited to get to try this and some of the other techniques you use. Thanks for all the ideas and lessons.

I find old crankbaits around my local waters and strip off the paint and remake them as a hobby during the winter months.Seeing you use cheap materials for stencils has given me some great ideas to try new patterns.I use a product called EZE-KOTE as a top coat sealer,it's water based so no smell,air dries quickly and goes hard as nails,mainly used by model makers to seal glass fibre but can be used on wood too.Keep the ideas and tips coming.

@@BakerBuilds may be a while. Having to save up for the equipment. With 2 kids and a wife to support. I hope it comes sooner rather than later. But I will definitely hit you up on Tackling the dream Facebook group. I appreciate your support.

Great videos!! I use the helping hands also and the alligator clips worked themselves to the point that they would no longer hold on the arms. I took them to work and tack welded them. They are working great again.
@BakerBuilds4 жыл бұрын
Mine keep doing that too. I take them off and put them back into shape with some pliers. Welding them is probably a better solution lol

You can keep a comb or stencil in place from sliding around by using painters tape. Tear off a piece an inch or so long. Loop it in a circle sticky side out and put it on the bait, then lightly stick the comb or stencil on it so the stencil doesn’t move and blur your paint job. Works best if you spray straight UVLS (mixed with reducer) first so it doesn’t lift the paint. There is delicate surface tape (purple color) that is not as aggressive When done stick the tape someplace you can keep it handy to resuse If you want to use the comb teeth towards the belly, mask off the ends of the teeth with painters tape to eliminate overspray If your super glue puts out too much, put a drop on a piece of cardboard, then get a small dab out of the oversized drop with the tip of an X-acto blade Nice tip about using the two stencils

after watching yr video I got so interested I went to buy some cheap Chinese air brushes x 2 n a little square box compressor. it was no good not enough air and paint cannot comes out smoothly. I just bit my teeth and bought a Iwata IS975SH and a iwata HP-CH. I also wants to order some Createx H2o paint , pear fluorescent to try. Anxiously awaiting for them to arrived. What would be a good recommendation for a second brush. I saw some creos PS270(0.3 needle) PS 289( 0.2 needle). These are much cheaper amp to iwata but is still Japanese made. Love to hear from you. Thkx. I could not get the Alumi UV as they don't shipped to Singapore. I may be able to get KBS coating Diamond finish from Dubai if they shipped. I am using polyurethane that use for coating wood surface as these are the only available that I can get locally.
