It's so funny to see people dancing in Looking for somebody to love and then slowly realizing the lyrics 😂😂

I really enjoyed your reaction and I totally agree with you, it's their most cohesive album to date and it's absolutely stunning. Btw the female voice singing on About You is Adam Hann's (the band's guitarist) wife Carly Holt.

The 1975 just casually throwing out an amazing Christmas song in October is something I never knew I needed until it happened

Hurray hurray! Yes The 1975 is back on form! Love this so much! They sound creative… and yes the lyrics are on point!

“It sounds like instruments in a room” the ground rule for this album was real instruments in a room!

Really great review. You bring a lot of knowledge and 1975 history into your comments, which gives your input credibility. Plus, you love the band and so do I .

Matty has said that he thinks of "About You" as a continuation of "Robbers"
@jessecooper59002 жыл бұрын
Love the review! Also when you said All I Need to Hear felt like a classic even though its new, George said a similar thing to Matty when he heard it "it sounds like a cover"

I love this review. I was screaming Robbers while you were saying About You reminded you of their previuos work hahaha. The album is amazing!

First time on this channel, and I have to say I adore the way you really focus and take the sound in. You really listen and analyze how the music makes you feel, it’s so beautiful. This video felt like listening with a long time friend. I had to sub! Thank you :)

OMG!!! I'm in tears!!! I love all your reactions to all these Amazing songs on this Absolutely Amazing Album!!! They are my most Favorite Band/Artists❤
@yetinaut2 жыл бұрын
I think you're picking up on something Matty had said previously that NOACF was the end of the "Music for Cars" era, so it was kinda bloated and all over the place because it was the band getting out all the lingering ideas and thoughts from that era, and so it kinda makes complete logical sense that that album seems like a grab-bag and that the album to follow it would be hyper-focused and really tight because they got out all the baggage on the last one. Love your reactions, love the things your picking up on!

I just listened to this album last week and was surprised by how much I liked it. They've always been on my radar but I never got into their music that much. I liked the first album but it didn't grab me like this one did. Thanks for your review of this, it helped me understand a lot more of the history behind the songwriting!

Another brilliant album. I completely agree with you about NOACF. Some absolute gems on it, but overall it does feel slightly too long, this is brilliant though. Jack Antonoff producing with them was a match made in heaven

The amount of happiness this albums lyrics & production has brought me… I seen the other day it was released 2 years ago and I honestly would’ve said 6 months if I had to guess 💀 The music video for I’m in love with you is so charming, it’s what made me like the song 10x more

I was waiting for his reaction to the "black girl thing" lyric in I'm in Love With You. Though, I'm glad he caught the lyrics in Looking for Somebody (to Love) after vibing to it.

Really love this! Rimbaud was a gay poet. Paul Verlaine was his love interest. Go back and listen to the Stones, Peter Gabriel, and Paul Simon, and then listen to this again, and you will have a whole different appreciation for them.

Funny thing when i love a music i would listen to it all day.. I loved one direction and didn’t know they are British.. I loved glass animals and didn’t know they are British.. And now this and i didn’t know they are British.. its just the way their music and lyrics are made ..

I am very glad that I’m a pretentious art bitch cause I can get all of Matty’s references. Also yes I am pretentious, I don’t think being pretentious is bad tho
