I tried revelations and it was stunning!! No ring on my tub, gorgeous teal water, and smelled like berry berry Xmas. I'm trying double vitality tomorrow night. My lush coworker said it's her favorite bath oil. They were out of furze, happy thoughts, and oil on troubled water when I was there. Sooooo disappointed!

The issue I have with bath oils is that they are not near as moisturizing as their old bath melts. Like, I bought Starlight Starbright or whatever for Christmas a few years ago, and HOLY SHITZIES, that thing packed a punch!!! My skin was greasy, yes, but after a few hours it was the softest it had ever been in my life, and it stayed that way for a few weeks. The original you've been mangoed also was super crazy moisturizing. I bought the Mmmarshmallow bath oil a year ago and it smelled of pure bubblegum to me (like snow fairy does) and I love bubblegum, but I do wish it was more of a combination of scents than just one scent. And it barely moisturized at all. I felt like I would have had to buy three or four of them to do the same job as one of the original bath melts. I ended up dumping a bunch of Shea butter into the tub to get that greasy feeling I love so much 😂 great video as always 👍

I agree, I feel that the majority of the bath bombs are more moisturizing than the bath oils. The oil sticks to everything BUT my body 😂

I've tried bright (the fave so far) and revelations and I have delight, polyamorous, double vitality, and magnificent to try. Oil over troubled waters smelled like grass to me (same scent family as the smell of the weather turning perfume apparently) so I passed for the time being. My store had almost all of the bath oils except furze and flowers barrow the most recent time I went.

I had the old floating island it was so much more cheap then the new one

It's not a cinnamon stick, it was a piece of vanilla bean pod on floating island.

Hmm, mine was DEFINITELY a cinnamon stick. I cook with both real vanilla and cinnamon, so I am very familiar with both ingredients. And when I was playing with this bath oil, I pulled the stick out and got cinnamon scent impermeated into my fingers. My Floating Island was very old that I had kept in my freeze for a long time.

I tried the marshmallow and the you've been mangoed, and broke out into a horrible rash with the latter. Good to know it's not just me, I guess. The marshmallow only gave me a minor rash, which I suppose isn't good either. 😲

Why isn’t lush allowed to call it dark arts? Sorry I’m a bit new to lush, thanks :)
@HelloSaguaro6 жыл бұрын
Heard it was a copyright issue with Warner Bros Harry Potter 🤷♀️ So it’s called Secret Arts. Lush even made a tiny piece of paper with the edit so the employees could slip them into all the catalogs that have Dark Arts.

@@HelloSaguaro I wonder if the renaming could also be a result of North America's fear of anything satanic sounding. I recently found out the UK Lush store also has a "Prince of Darkness" fresh face mask that isn't sold here, and I assume it's because of the name.

Yeah I was always wondering why we couldn’t get it here 🤷♀️
