Great work! I just have one question: How do you store your lino reliefs after printing? Do they need to be cleaned or do you let the ink just dry on it? This is a thing most videos I have seen yet do not comment on. Thank you for your videos!

Thank you! I clean my blocks and then store in a plastic containers. I use sunflower seed oil or dishsoap & water depending on the ink.

Better to use too little ink than too much. You can always apply several layers of ink. Just let it dry in between. I probably used about 1/4 ink.

It's because of the combination of this type of paper and ink. When using the Cranfield Colours metallic inks on BFK rives paper, I've had major problems with the paper shifting ever so slightly when it goes though the press. Moistening the paper helps the ink to stick to the paper better.

I have a question! We are doing Linocut printmaking at school, and I am loving it very much (my teacher says that I have a talent for it 😚) and I don't want to stop when the unit is over. Are there any substitute mediums that I can use? that doesn't need a printing press like the one used in the video. because my teachers told me that for that type (and the rubbery one) we need a printing press (btw we are using the same materials as wut ur using). I find printmaking very fun and soothing, with a beautiful outcome 😩

It's called graphite transfer paper. Very useful indeed. You can also make your own by coloring the back side of your sketch with a soft pencil
