Lusikisiki massacre: family happy with more arrests

Four more suspects are due to appear in court soon in connection with the murder of 18 people in Lusikisiki, Eastern Cape. The first was nabbed in Gqeberha yesterday and the three were apprehended near Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal, today. David King, who lost a family member in the #LusikisikiMassacre, is relieved with the arrests but is concerned that firearms are still missing.

News Room Africa needs to consider hiding the identity of persons who are being interviewed for cases like the Lusikisiki massacre. Our constitution helps convicts in concealing their identity, yet these innocent people who are expressing their views may be jeopadized. I don't think it is wise for these persons to show their faces on National TV, knowing that there are other suspects at large. Jounalism is not important in SA, the safety of our people are more important. Please consider! Should anything happen to these people, it will be so convenient for News Room Africa to continue their business. Our world is thriving on negative actions.
