I have old version of this pedal. The "EQZ" control is really be able to change the tone from dark to crank and bright disto. The control "mix" allow to not lose the bottom bass (at any way, like all disto for bass, if you want to mix a lot of disto you lose this bottom). Good for sounds stoner and metal, but maybe your pedalboard rig need another disto more sweet for the majority of time.
