You put forward a very interesting question, and that question is: If something is NOT haram , then does that make it _halal?_ The typical Sunni, of whichever _madhab_ they inherited, or Shiite, of whichever Imam of their forefathers or all the other Sectarians would automatically PRESUME that, i.e. Al Moses has, _"by his own understanding"_ made it _"halal!"_ That is how their mind work. That is how they _"think!"_ And to make them feel good about themselves, they _"demanded"_ that Al Moses provide evidence or an _aya_ to support his stance. Okay... now to try and make these Sunnis, Shiites and their fellow Sectarians think using the same principle... same themed question with this _verse/aya_ as reference: 63:1 When come to you the hypocrites, they say, "We testify ( ش ه د ) that you surely Messenger of Allah." And Allah knows that you are surely His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are surely liars. Now... to all the Sunnis, Shiites and fellow Sectarians out there... please provide your evidence or a _verse/aya_ where Allah says that when the prophet's companions and other followers were to *testify* the same oath, _as all Sectarians are doing nowadays_ , then they are NOT *hypocrites and LIARS?* Poor lost and misguided souls under the false impression that they are guided. My Dear Brother Al Moses, I have a genuine sincere question. I have extensively looked in the Holy Quran and have done the best of my human ability to research and be a Muslim of wisdom and knowledge. May Allah truly bless you for doing your research and presenting your findings through open minded thinking and being unbiased especially since the cultural indoctrination of the religion of Islam is very biased. My question is, does there say anywhere in the Holy Quran that a Man can not marry another Man in a monogamous committed marriage relationship??? I have looked at nearly every verse and ayaat and I’m still searching. In surah Nisa Ayat 23-24 Allah SWT mentions who is permissible in marriage and who is prohibited but never mentioned the prohibition of same gender marriage, and thus Allah SWT never mentioned the prohibition of cousins marriage and hence millions of Muslims have married their cousins including my own parents. My sincere open hearted question is, does their state anywhere in the Glorious Quran that a Man can NOT Marry another Man??? I know The Quran values marriage and committed partnership. May Allah SWT truly bless you for all your time and help and for spreading unbiased Quranic truth 🙏❤️❤️

Dear Sir, I have read a comment here about the need to publish your videos in Urdu. Although to me there are more wider audience for English videos, it won't hurt to publish it again in Urdu so that it can benefit those that understand Urdu. And dont you think some criminal homosexual practices could have taken place such as raping and assaulting like we can observe in jails today? Last, I have also thought about new translations of words like nisaa'un and rijaalun, and I am really impressed of the meanings you provide. But did you checked them if they fit with each place they are mentioned in the mushaf? What prevented me from reinterpreting is that nisaa'un is feminine and rijaalun is masculine, what indicates that one refers to (at least mainly) women and the other to men in general. Or do you think that in some places they simply mean men and women but they have also this deeper kind of meaning? Thanks a lot for your investigation

SA, I did not find rijal as just men or Nisa just as women in the mushaf. If you like, you can watch the urdu series on them in detail. Lut's qom could've been doing rapes as well as their equivalent of insider trading but all that is guess work. What's clear is that they were not punished for the biblical act

Here the people of Lut came to him saying: "Show us your guests, so we can recognize them." And the exegets of the Thora understood the word recognize (yadha) to mean "have sexual intercourse".

According to the meaning of rijaal and nisaa' can you point me to further information. Salamun Alaikum: I really appreciate Dr. Hany's work and commitment however Dr. Hany needs some serious reflection and self-correction. We are all human beings and bound to make mistakes. Dr. Hany is an elder and works with the Divine revelation. Many students including myself, look up to him as a teacher and mentor. So it is that much painful to see petty and controlling behavior from him; he is becoming a threat to his own mission. Instead of cultivating a positive environment on his forum, he has resorted to oppression and insulting any dissenting voices or even sincere questions around the possibility of mistakes in his content. His followers would attack me on his forum because my handle/display name was mistakenly confused to be Al-Moses (Quran Student). Dr Hany himself would ask another member about "How his channel is doing" because of his paranoia - mistaking that member for Al-Moses. Dr Hany accuses Al-Moses of stealing "his" disclosures and "his" copyrights. He has made inappropriate and demeaning posts about Al-Moses on his forum. Dr. Hany has recently put "his" work behind a subscription/paywall but has issues with others providing free and open access to study tools and work. Dr. Hany demanded that I shutdown a Quran study website/ tool - QuranMorphology - because he thinks its "dangerous" for people _other than him_ to find markers, repeating phrases and do evidence based study across Quran. Instead of working with others who feel the calling and want to understand the Divine Revelation, he is falling into an ego trap. Dr. Hany has labeled Al-Moses and Myself as "devious ummayyads" on his forum, all because I wanted students to have free and open access to Quran study tools. If Dr. Hany is finding mistakes in Al-Moses work, he should tackle these topics on his channel and share it so we can all benefit, otherwise he should restrict the negativity and cultish followers to his forum. I hope that he finds it in his heart to let go of the "MY" attachment and works together with other toilers. and I hope that students of Quran realize that we cant make the same mistake of blind cheerleading, we respect our elders and teachers but we should help them by being honest about their weaknesses. This is not about one individual or personality, this is bigger than that!

If you are saying it's not haram then you are saying Allah has made it halal. There is only one of two ways to take this. جزاك الله خير Alsalam Alaykum From my point of view, you are one hundred percent sure that homosexuality is not forbidden (Haram) from the story of Lot only. Have you searched the entire Holy Qur’an and did not find any indication that homosexuality is forbidden? For example, God said in his book that immoralities (the word in the Qur’an is الفواحش ) are forbidden. Have you researched the types of immoralities and are certain that homosexuality is not part of these immoralities? Also, you did not say that homosexuality is halal, and you said that the community should talk and discuss this issue, and you were not clear, to discuss what if it is Haram or Halal . Or do you mean that they should discuss homosexuality if it harmful or not , and laws should be enacted to limit homosexuality if it harms the society. An example of that the laws on alcohol. Alcohol is not Haram or Halal in the Qur’an. Please upload a video about the word immoralities الفواحش and their types in the Holy Quran if you already did your research thanks

SA brother, I haven't found this act in the mushaf. Fahsh and its derivatives do not refer to sex exclusively--not when we take off the hawas jinsi from our eyes. Still, it's 'my' fahm and I do not impose it on anyone. If I am incorrect, there is no shame in admitting that. A small support from my side , I perfectly understand you but I guess it might have been a little better if you had presented your work as "Lut's mission is not what you thought you knew " or " Lut's mission was not about a homosexual community" rather than " God did not make homosexuality haram" and trying to emphasize it too much as this is not helpful to your cause at this point.. As you say , you are a student of Quran and maybe later in other parts of the Quran you will come to a point where it might say otherwise ( not saying it will ). what I'm trying to say is that try to emphasize the core of your work rather than concrete conclusions about God. Concrete conclusions should be made after finishing the complete study of Quran. I hope that helps.
