The only difference I do in initial setup is I take advanced Melee. I find it easy enough to level up rifles as I progress. You can collect all shotgun shells for instance from your start and use them at various times in safe(ish) places to level that skill up. I get tho why on a crowded PvP server you may want to start with advanced rifles tho. I tend to play on smaller pop servers. Great video as always :)

i really agree with you here Eaton, the game shines on lower pop servers. things can get abit hectic when the server has a lot of people playing on it. but still fun in its own way, just prefer the chill experience personally.

Hi Luthais! Appreciate all your videos for the SCUM community!! Any chance you will put out a video detailing single player server settings you recommend? Specifically if you could explain what the puppet/horde swan setting do...I cant figure it out.

All the settings don't work as intended so until they get the encounter system to an expectable level and they know whats going on we are all confused. I just increase the encounter multiplier and the horde multiplier and leave the rest alone

As a new player to Scum I've found your videos so helpful. Thank you. Can you clarify where the toggle/hold ADS setting is please? It didn't seem clear in your video.

I have 3rd person disabled I think survival games shouldn't have it at all in MY opinion also the nudity doesn't effect anything its never gotten me demonetized I think it only would if that's what your focusing on but I think the blur takes away from emersion. Loved the vid mate 😁👍

Hey Luthias I tried joining New dawn as I am not a pvper but the loot chance is so painfully low I only get like 1hr a day twice a week to play and with only being able to buy vehicles and not find them it's feels like ibam making no progress especially with the holds I can't even sneak around a town without beings swammed let alone being able to build a house

Talk to some of the people playing and see if you can join a group. If it gets too wild you can always join LDR
