First half was shocking and I was worried that Cardiff would flick a switch. Thankfully, we managed to take full advantage of a set piece and the lads dug really deep and made it very difficult for Cardiff to break us down. We never looked like scoring(neither did they), which is a real worry but managed to shut the shop door and keep them out. I'm with James - just happy for 3 points and a strong performance from everyone. I just want to point out that around the 66/67th minute, we played some of best passing of the season. COYH!

My best guess with Alfie is he picked up a 'cork' to his calf. Any possibility of a break of a bone or strain /tear of a muscle should have seen him taken off. A cork can still take over a week to recover from though so he's doubtful for Saturday but a cork gives him a chance of recovering quickly. Great show as always.

Ankle injury according to RE. Hope its a bad bruise and not ligaments. He's a tough lad if it's the latter.
