How does Johnny Evans get to training with the first team squad at United and the Northern Irish management team have never heard of or been told about him? Surely even if it's badly organised, you'd still know the Irish born players at the biggest clubs? Did they just not know anyone?

Liverpool were cheated bigtime in the 19 89 FA cup final. They had a perfectly good goal disallowed by Peter Beardsley when the referee never played the advantage. Dave Beasant was miles of his line as well when he saved Aldridge's penalty which I don't think was a penalty in the first place.

He wasnt great at United but never forget his effort as we beat Arsenal 2-0 at OT (early 87) with Big Norm & a few others kicking them everywhere, they were 17 games undefeated and Gibson was like a buzzsaw and scored his only goal from memory for United that day, covered every blade and harrassed their back four for the full 90. He'd probably be our best player back now but even back then it never worked out for him. Total respect for his effort though. Buzzing that you got him on. (EDIT)Brushing off the United players getting CS gassed at Anfield, subject changed quickly, you lot are all closet Scouse lovers.

In fairness mate that suggests that you're either very young or don't have much of a football knowledge. He played for Man Utd and Tottenham, it's not as if he spent the 80s knocking about in the Vauxhall Conference.

Credit where credit's due ... interesting guest, interesting (mainly) questions asked, and not one example of crudity from any of you 3. Plus - at last - you have managed to get through the podcast with only a minimum of forced laughter. Kudos to you, for being much more adult in your conduct.
@sharonhutt8886Ай бұрын
The banter and missing about is what makes the podcast what it is .... their not pretending to be michael parkinson and nor should they
@deebee6600Ай бұрын
@@sharonhutt8886 I know what banter is. When it is amusing and intelligent, it can be very enjoyable. When it becomes crude, and includes, for example, deliberate references to men defecating, I am disgusted - neither amused nor entertained. But maybe YOU are very partial to obscenities, in which case DO keep supporting the trio - I`m sure they will treasure your unyielding support.
