I had a Saturday job at Tesco in Waller Street & helped move the store to a brand new unit in the Arndale Centre. The store is still there today but I believe the upstairs Delamere clothing section has long gone. Nice video!

What's actually changed? Pretty much all the buildings and structures are the same as they were in the 60s just the arndale has had a face lift, name change and slight changes in interior design

all the shops are shite, mostly closing down or about too, most pubs gone, dead deserted town centre, and crappy "luxury" apartments everywhere... this video has focused on the similarities... If they had shown the differences you wouldn't have recognized the place...
