On form and consistency there is an argument that Jonny Evans is currently United's best defender. ETH signing him up seemed like a headscratcher but he has more than proven his worth and is not just making up the academy quota.

Thanks Andy. The only thing I'd disagree with is your appraisal that Kobie dropped off after HT (he did technically, but only slightly and for a good reason) and that McT was better than Casemiro. McT seemed better because he did ZERO in midfield which meant a double work shift for Mainoo. You can't say someone did better than Casemiro's sloppy tackling just because he didn't try to tackle. I thought the Luton players gamed everything but that's what you'd expect. The shots of Casemiro in the press this morning grappling with Morris are nothing to what Højlund had to endure every time Onana lofted the ball long. That's another thing, why long ball today? It was a perfect game to play out from the back and if the choice to start Maguire precluded that … then maybe don't start Maguire when you've got 10/10 Jonny in your squad!

Im just curious how u always give Bruno more point than Casemiro where in the past 4 games bruno was actually abysmal and Casemiro been great in at least 2 of them and the other 2 he was better than bruno. Bruno without final balls adds nothing to the team and in the last 4 matches he didnt even did that. United with Bruno will never ever control a match of football properly like a big team do. Its impossible to control the game with 2 midfielder and one that is everywhere except where he should be.

Got away with one today. Played like giants for 10 minutes and then like pygmies for the rest. Run ragged at times. Yeah we could have had five but quite honestly so could they. Weirdly satisfying to get the win despite being under the kosh for so much of the game. Kind of bodes well. Kobbie head and shoulders our best player. Cool calm collected. Build the team around him! Ps can we please stop having games that are "good for the neutral". Let's just batter someone, eh? You know, for old times sake.

These ratings are very English biased…. How on earth did maguire get a 6 ? He was horrible got turned constantly fouling constantly gave away the ball almost costing us a goal he was a 4 at best
