Just to say I received the Lutterloh system for Christmas... Hurrah! Looking forward to seeing what I create from it. Can I ask you please, do you know if Lutterloh do a pattern for a Chanel style jacket in any of their supplements? As at some point I'd like to have go at making one. Merry Christmas to you, hope it was a good one!

Congratulations 🎉 I’m looking forward to see what you create too 😃 I’ve seen a video from with Wendy using pattern number 3 from the 2018 supplements to make a Chanel jacket. Hope that helps!

Id love if you could recommend which supplements are more intenresting or your favorites, thanks so much for sharing your makes and btw I love thr first make, the “sew” sweatshirt, so lovely 👌🏼👏🏻🙏🏻

Loved your video! I've had the system for 2 weeks now and it looks scary, I'm not sure I'll be able to do it. But I'm tired of buying patterns which don't fit. I'd love to see a video of you using the system to make a dress!

What a great way to celebrate the 12 days of Christmas! A nice change! As you are an experienced Lutterloh user who is keen to adopt tips and tricks, would you be offended if I turned to you for help occasionally? My kit is 'in the post' and I'm very impatient. I consider myself an experienced sewist, simply because I have been sewing for a long time, though with a 30-year break with family and career, a little rusty. My Mum used the system in Sweden where I grew up - I still have the kit tape measure.

Of course! I’m more than happy to answer any questions you have. I don’t claim to be an expert but I’m willing to share my insight on sewing with Lutterloh

Do you know how I can find out which year my Lutterlough patterns were printed.
@jenstylishsoul3 жыл бұрын
Certainly on the patterns 2008 and onwards, on the pattern side of each pattern there is a copyright symbol and Roman numerals. The Roman numerals are the date they were produced. Hope that helps.

Hi, after watching your great vlogs I ordered the Lutterloh system, just wondering if you would know how long it should take to arrive? I ordered it on 17th December. Thank you x
@jenstylishsoul4 жыл бұрын
Kerry McIlwaine congratulations 😀! I guess the Christmas break, covid and where your order is going to will affect the delivery time. I think the last supplement I ordered took about 3 weeks. Hopefully yours should arrive in the next few days or you could drop them an email to chase your order love.dressmaking@gmail.com Hope this helps

What is the cost of that system?
@jenstylishsoul3 жыл бұрын
The system with 280 patterns ‘the golden rule’ and cardboard tailor curve is currently £109 on the www.I-love-dressmaking.com website. You can buy kits that have the acrylic tailor curves, paper and one year subscription for additional cost. Subscriptions come out quarterly or you can buy the subscription supplements separately if you prefer. Hope that helps.

I know what you mean about a pattern looking huge. I once made a pair of slacks using a different pattern drafting system. They looked HUGE! (I wear a size 10 in commercial clothing). The pattern looked like a size 16 or so. But, guess what? The slacks fit perfectly just like your leggings.
