Read the original Valmiki Ramayana instead of watching these TV serials. Lord Rama never ordered Sita to give Agnipariksha for himself, but for his Praja. He already told Sita that she doesn't need to prove anything to her husband as he already knows Sita very well and spiritually connected to her always. But being a king of Ayodhya Lord Rama told Sita for the first time to give Agnipariksha to show the people who she actually is, because people were taking his words for granted regarding Sita. And when Sita came in front of Lord Rama, people of ayodhya didn't liked her because she was in Lanka for 4 months. So, sita decided to go back to mother earth so that they will get satisfaction.
