7:38 actually johnny from nct went back and forth (chicago-korea) while he was a trainee! he would fly to korea every summer break, almost as if it were a summer camp, train for the break, come back and repeat. this is actually the reason as to why he trained for 8+ years, so if he had trained continuously, he probably would have made his debut earlier! so yes, it is possible, but i think you’re the one who has to pay for it, but i think it’s fine as long as your company and your financial situation is okay with it :)

I think there are exceptions for some trainees so be going back and forth between SK and their hometown. I believe Johnny(NCT) has said his training period because of this though. He would go to school in the US and during the summer he would go to SK to train. And some companies do have branch locations in other countries such as Japan where, I guess, trainees train and aren’t sent to SK unless they are confirmed to be in the debut line up. Because often international trainees have to study Korean even if the aren’t in SK. Keyword: BELIEVE (I am not entirely sure about this)

I want to take JYP auditions when I graduate from high school on my country, I'll be 15-16 but I don't know if that'd be too old to be a trainee? Well that is true, you have to go to Korea to be trainee. But I know I think Kazuha was s tuck in Netherlands, and she was unable to come to Korea, and Hube sedned trainer to Netherlands. So it's posiblle to train in your country, but they obviously are not going to do that to every trainee that doesn't live in Korea.

I really want to become a trainee/idol, but I’m torn between whether I should audition or stay in school. I know that you can go to school in Korea, but I wanna go to university afterwards, to study medicine. There’s international school for high school students, but is there “international” universities? Or will the company allow me to go to university anyways? I feel like by the time I go to uni, if I’m a trainee, then my Korean will be good enough to hold fluent conversations, but idk if I’d be able to understand the “technical” language for whatever degree I wanna pursue, for example chemical names or etc. Also unrelated to above, but as a trainee, can you have a part time job on the side? I know most people don’t have enough time, but if you feel like you can fit it into your schedule without it affecting your trainee life, would the company actually allow you to have one?

I am actually thinking to audition for JYPE and many said that they pay for our flight and a parent/guardian if we are under the age of 16..so is that true? but what if I didn`t pass the 2nd audition and have to come back home...do they pay for that as well?

The thing is that if I get selected, the money that my school took for admission will go to vain. Will the company pay me back the money if I become a trainee in the middle of my session?
