The only thing keeping me from auditioning is the fact that you never really know if you’ll debut or not. Which is scary because I don’t live in Korea and I wouldn’t want to stay there without my family, and then not end up debuting. 😩✋🏼

Thank you so much! I've always thought of the harsh training and the possibility of not being successful (whether as a trainee or a debut) as the biggest obstacles to overcome, but it seems debt and legal contracts are so very harsh. Imagine chasing your dreams only to fail and lose the youngest years of your life and work off your debt. Years of missing school also slow down your chances of getting a good job in real life. The more I learn the more it seems like debuting and being successful is about the same as the roll of a dice.

I’ve always wanted to perform on stage because I like the feeling I get every time I’m on it. I’ve tried out different forms of performing arts but they’ve never really gave me any sort of satisfaction until I found K-pop/C-pop. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a chance, and financially, I’m struggling. Well, I’m doing everything I can right now to prepare to audition late 2023 or 2024, where I will be 18 already. Hopefully it’s not too late. I’m aiming for Yuehua, hopefully everything works out!

idk if i came here too late but i always had this question about idols especially group one. what if, one member had a packed schedule (say it like maybe mc-ing variety shows or starring korean series), where do their income goes to? do they divide them for another members fairly? or their agency takes percentage first and then the the artist/idol can have the rest? if they divide it to another members that do nothing (because they have no schedule), isn't that can start jealousy issue?
