Its a great looking timepiece, I recommened the model with the non-luminescent hands and 5 minute markers. I believe it's the 6t63-00b0. Also doesn't have the red markers at 3, 6, 9, and 12. Instead it's all polished stainless steel, very sharp looking. I wear this model just about every day.

I think this watch and the black strap with red stitching will go with the Bugatti Veyron interior because that also has black leather with red stitching.

Since when is 'yes its a seiko' a bad thing? Ive had mine for about 3 weeks now. Its a great watch. Perfect time keeping. Comfortable wear. Attractive easy to read face.

Howdy :-) completely agree that Seiko is a great brand. Just pointing out that there’s a certain value oriented stigma to Seiko, especially prevalent in this area of Europe. Between, the Swiss, Germans, French, and Belgian brands, Seiko is regarded as a competent watch but seems to be less shiny and appealing to certain folks. Would love to see how this changes as Grand Seiko continues to build the high-end image of Seiko.

I just found out about this watch and went hunting for one on eBay and there was one used one with scratches on the case. They still wanted $280. plus additional shipping. So I considered it and ended buying the Swatch. /Omega hype watch bc they had some in stock. But after looking in KZbin and all the negative comments on the watch, I decided to return it bc the crystal Socrates easy and the chrono pushers break off easy. So I ended up looking on eBay for a SSB031 again in Ebay and found one listing for a great condition one for only $150. plus $10. for shipping and bought it. Great bc in 2 weeks, I already bought 10 other Seiko watches and need to stop buying . Bc my next quest was going to be the Seiko land solar chrono that going forward around $400. to $500. and this one is just as great looking and much more affordable.

Hey Aaron, wow great find on eBay! I’m still loving the watch even though it’s getting less time on the wrist these days. You wear it on the original bracelet or opting for something different? Have not had a chance to handle a moonswatch in person, but have to be honest in saying they look pretty cool. :-) I totally hear you when you talk about your seiko spending spree, lol. What’s the model number on your next big seiko purchase? Will check it out. Cheers!

Hi The Lux Neophyte, Sorry for the few typos and was typing from my phone. Meant the swatch /Omega scratches easily and that I was looking for the newer Seiko Solar Panda chrono, but happy with getting this SSB031 with the same great looks for much less. I haven’t got the watch yet and being sent by mail. I’ll just leave it original and I’m not that fussy about the band and may try a rubber divers strap to give it more options. So the watches o got so far was the PADI solar special edition. the Monster with the deep blue face (which is my favorite so far), the Seiko 5 with the contrast white ring around the dial, the Seiko 5 that looks like the SKX 007, 2 of the Seiko ones that looks like the Rolex Oyster dial and have gotten a lot of attention on KZbin in the last few years, this rare Seiko R-SUS analog/digital and only sold in Japan from 97 that I got from someone on eBay from the uK that’s near NOS. and a couple vintage Seiko 5 from the 80s. Yeah, I need to stop and enjoy the watches I’ve just gotten. Lol! Well, I got most for half of retail cost and most were brand new. Oh and a Seiko SSB330 when I couldn’t find this one. Sorry, I can’t remember all the model numbers and sorry for being vague. The Swatch/Omega sounds great, but it’s poor quality. I’m glad I returned it and looked cheap with its Velcro strap. The danger of looking and learning about certain watches on KZbin is that you end up wanting them. Lol! Anyway, keep up the great work and hope to see more videos from you. 🤠

Hey, Victor. A jazz pianist? That's awesome! Love, listening to Miles which turned me on to Bill Evans. As for a rally strap, on this side of the ocean, I like using Watch Gecko as it provides pretty good value and decent shipping out of the UK (at least while they are in the EU, hehe). If you find something cool alternatives as well, let us know!
