Howdy, @portlandcurry. Nice to meet a fellow fan. I’m hoping you can make it over and let me know how your experience went. I saw another anniversary edition drop but unfortunately way too small for me! Thanks a million for watching and take care!

So did you buy a watch there?

Howdy @timchan334, unfortunately they do not offer watches for sale at the location. Been waiting for one of their online drops that matches my tastes. Maybe will be lucky one day :-) thanks for watching, cheers!

Great video! Looks like you had a very enjoyable visit to the salon. You mentioned that there weren’t any watches for purchase at the salon. Does visiting the salon enable you to have preferential treatment to acquire a watch in the future? Thanks!

Howdy! Really appreciate you stopping by and dropping a comment. Always fun to interact with a fellow watch enthusiast. Indeed, there were no watches for sale at the Kurono salon which perplexed me a bit. 😂 unfortunately, a visit does not give you any preferential access to the watches; wouldn’t that be awesome. The attendant was nice enough to walk me the registration process for the release announcements and signed me up for their newsletter right in the store. And, she spent quite a bit of time walking me through how the sale occurs but all of this does not lead to any access to the front of the line. I wish! Maybe in the future they will sell some limited Kurono non-watch merchandise but who knows. Hope this helps a bit. Happy to field any other questions. Take care, cheers!

Also, quick note. just saw the newsletter for the February 23rd pre-order notice for Kurono’s 34mm Special Projects. Way too small for me 😂 kuronotokyo.com/pages/34mm_2024?syclid=cn8d0037v77s73c7un0g&

Thanks for the video! I was kinda intimidated due to the vibe of the salon (even tho I live in Japan and have no problem communicating in Japanese lol) but your video gave me some courage to visit them! I'm also waiting for their next release. I was not 100% committed to 34mm watches same as you haha. Still, I want to test on my wrist to see if Kurono really fits me or not. One little question, does they require any reservation? Thanks for the vid again!

Howdy Soon, thanks for watching the video! Hehehe, I’m glad to see that I was not the only person intimidated by unusual set up and system at the salon. I think visiting and trying on the 34mm is a great idea as it’s so hard to gauge the feel of a watch from the video. As for the question, I didn’t have to make any reservations at all. I just walked in and the attendant was super helpful. Hopefully your experience will be the same. Please let me know how it goes and your thoughts on the 34mm once you give it a try. Again, really appreciate you watching the video! Cheers!

@@theluxneophyte I just came out from Kurono Tokyo salon! (Took me some time to actually go there haha) As you said, it was a very pleasant experience! They told me that Kurono releases around 3~4 models every year so I will wait for their next model! Thanks for your video again :)

@_SOON_ awesome, I’m glad you were able to have a good experience at the Salon. Good to know that there will be more models to come this year. :-) you and me both will be eyeing to see if we can get a Kurono on release, eh? Nice! Hope you are enjoying Spring and perhaps a bit of food and drink under the cherry blossoms. Cheers!
