Hello! How did you connect this unit? You state in another comment that you used a regular accesory decoder, but then how did you wire it and control it? Also in combination with the motor that requires 12v DC 150mA. I am curious to find out whether it would be better to get the version without decoder, like you did, or the one with decoder? Hei, the decoder is powered and controlled over the layouts main dcc power. Then I have a 12V power supply which is connected feeds the motor. One of the wire is feeds through the decoder, so it turns it on and off. This is the decoder I use: www.ldt-infocenter.com/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=en:sa-dec-4

Nice - I like it ;-) Still working my way up through your videos - one day I will get to the newest - LOL. One question: I seem to recall somewhere I saw that WD-40 is not necessarily a good idea if you have tracktion tires as it could make these more slippery. Have you had any issue with this?

The problem with WD-40 is that will be over layout afterwards. I stopped using it. I think it's better to use ethanol or isopropanol on the cleaning machine. Don't use acetone, that destroys cleaning tires.

Which unit did you get? The 9301 or o9301.7? Did you still require the decoder 9304? And lastly, how come you didn't pick up the lead in marklin c track adapters? I have a marklin c track layout and am looking to add a wheel cleaner unit. Thanks for any feedback.

I have then 9301. I build my own solution using an accessory decoder. The dealer I bought it from didn't have anything else on stock. The dealer didn't have the C Track adapter, so I had to improvise. Specially that I had quite some Flex track left.

@@TheTrainroom thank you for getting back to me. I just bought the 9301.7 and a decoder. Probably not worth the shipping to send back the decoder.
