Fantastic comparison Jamie, really useful info! Both are such beautiful bags but my personal favourite is the Deauville because I prefer bags with pockets/extra compartments and also the magnetic closure gives me a better sense of security. Thanks so much for sharing! 😍😍😍

Beautiful comparison, both bags are gorgeous. I can see the deauville preference with the extra strap and being able to wear a tote easily on the shoulder. Very thorough and loved seeing these beauties together💕🤎💕

I love love my Dior Book Tote...you have to see them in person to appreciate the embroidery....I chose a seasonal print from a year ago in the smaller size and have no regrets....it's a forever piece for me, especially since I have my name on it!😆😍

I love the Deauville and I love totes in general. Great video! I have been thinking about the Dior book tote, but will probably hold off. I sometimes find my Deauville heavy but I just love the look of it and it is quite versatile with both handles and straps.

I recently purchased the Dior oblique embossed leather book tote, the tote is stunning but it is sooo structured and stiff. Also, very heavy and the handle was a deal breaker. I’m returning it and will purchase the Chanel Deauville instead, I wish I found your channel before purchasing it😂. Thanks.

I like to think the Deauville is a cross between the Neverfull and onthego in many ways. I have a special love for my Neverfull. Such a chic and durable bag! 🥰

Hi hun! I remember paying less than retail at the time. I would recommend checking the Chanel website for the latest Chanel pricing. The price will vary based on the version with different materials plus the constant Chanel price increases. I still enjoy the tote as I purchased it mainly for vacations. I have other leather totes like my LV Neverfull that I use for everyday errands. My tote is still in good shape despite limited travel with the pandemic. However, I would recommend a bag organizer to help with structure and protect the inside of the bag. Good luck with your decision! 🥰
