Dallas, is the mayo they use on the sandwiches actually mayonnaise, or is it English salad creme? At home in the USA whenever I make any sandwiches that have "salad" in the name, egg salad, chicken salad, etc I will make English salad creme. SUBSCRIBED!

In the tea sandwiches here in the UK, they use mayo definitely- I have yet to even come across salad crème except in the supermarkets- this has happened over time- I think tastes are changing over here - 20 years ago it was quite prevalent. Unfortunately it was like a fake butter spread- quite common here - it’s to keep the sandwiches from getting soggy. I do not care for it as it leaves a greasy taste in the mouth ✨@@Mr.56Goldtop
